What's New in Version 4.1?

Classroom Pages

Each course that you create in WP Courseware now includes its own Classroom page where you can view the students enrolled for your course, review a quick overview of student progress, manage students, reset student progress, email a student, or even email the entire class.

Student Index Page

WP Courseware's newly redesigned admin user menu now has a student index page which provides a bird's eye view of all of your students enrolled across all courses. Formerly, WP Courseware used the native WordPress "Users" screen for this. From the Students menu, you can also update course permissions, access detailed student progress, or reset course progress all in one place.

Email Students or Classrooms

It's finally here! Many of our users have been asking for the ability to email a single student or an entire class directly from within WP Courseware. Well, now you can! Simply choose the student or course you'd like to send a message to, provide a subject line, type up your message, and hit send!

Enhanced Student Enrollment

WP Courseware version 4.1 includes new, streamlined enrollment options for your students. While the plugin still retains its bulk enrollment functionality and ability to update enrollments for large numbers of students via CSV import, students can now be easily enrolled in courses from within the new Classroom page. You can also add a new student and enroll them at the same time, saving you a trip back to the native WordPress "Users" screen!

New Menu & Global Settings

Other WordPress LMS plugins require you to navigate back and forth between screens to build all of your course elements. Not WP Courseware. It now includes a streamlined, intuitive configuration menu to walk you step-by-step through the process. It also now includes a global "Settings" panel to configure settings across all of your courses without having to enter each course's "Course Settings" page.

And Much More!

The list goes on and on! WP Courseware version 4.1 includes many more improvements related to managing and navigating your courses and students as well as a number of "under the hood" enhancements.

There's also MUCH more on the way in the coming weeks! If you've logged a feature request with us, you can be assured that we've logged it and likely will be scheduling in into an upcoming release if we haven't already.

But Don't Forget to Act Soon!

Again, we're offering you the opportunity to purchase absolutely anything on our site, both new licenses and license upgrades, at 35% off for a limited time.

This discount will only be valid from Friday, November 24th to Monday, November 27th. Please don't wait!

I very tempted by this as the classrooms feature maybe something I could use. I’d like to see it in action on your demo site though before I purchase, is that possible before your black friday deal runs out?

      Hi Colin,
We do have a demo site, however, it’s only for the front end experience. Access to the backend is not available. However, we do have a video that highlights the classroom and students pages.
